Cooking with Kids: Bagels – January

Parents! Join us for an afternoon of cooking and mess-making with your little one! In this class taught by Michelle Nygren (DeBruyn), you’ll explore the world of bagels. You’ll learn how to make New York-style bagel dough, how to hand-form classic bagels, and how to boil and bake them with your favorite flavors. You’ll top your fresh-baked bagels with herby lemon cream cheese and sweet honey, cinnamon, and walnut schmear, and have plenty to last you all week!! This class is recommended for families cooking with children age 7 and older.

This is a live, hands-on cooking class held in your kitchen via Zoom. Class is meant to be as interactive as it would be at our table, with the instructor teaching you how to prepare each recipe. Each class ticket is for one kitchen, and we welcome group cooking on the same screen. All recipes are designed for four servings.
