In this class layer-cake devotee Brian Medford will teach you the fundamentals of mixing cake batter, stacking layers, and the lost art of Swiss meringue buttercream. You’ll make classic devil’s food chocolate cake that you’ll frost with your choice of peanut butter buttercream, grasshopper (mint chocolate) buttercream, or a rich and straight to the point dark chocolate buttercream.
This is a live, hands-on cooking class held in your kitchen via Zoom. Class is meant to be as interactive as it would be at our table, with the instructor teaching you how to prepare each recipe. Each class ticket is for one kitchen, and we welcome group cooking on the same screen. All recipes are designed for four servings.
