Baking 202: Rough Puff Pastry – January

Puff pastry’s mystique comes not just from its impossibly flaky layers but also from its notoriously tricky preparation. You need not be deterred! Pastry chef Katharine Wright will teach you how to make rough puff pastry from scratch – simplifying the process without compromising the final result. You’ll learn how to form classic shapes, and get plenty of tips for proper baking. You’ll make an olive, feta, and artichoke tart and caramelized cinnamon and sugar palmier cookies.

This is a live, hands-on cooking class held in your kitchen via Zoom. Class is meant to be as interactive as it would be at our table, with the instructor teaching you how to prepare each recipe. Each class ticket is for one kitchen, and we welcome group cooking on the same screen. All recipes are designed for four servings.

All events are listed in Pacific Time.
