A Persian Fall Feast – October

Join OMID ROUSTAEI as he shows you how to make some of his favorite dishes from Iran: Khoresh fesenjoon (chicken in pomegranate and walnut sauce) and Tahchin (savory saffron rice cake). You’ll learn how to layer flavors for a perfect braise, and the technique for getting that golden crust on your rice. Along the way Omid will share some the history of Persian food, and how it has influenced the ingredients and cuisines of the surrounding countries.

This is a live, hands-on cooking class held in your kitchen via Zoom. Class is meant to be as interactive as it would be at our table, with the instructor teaching you how to prepare each recipe. Each class ticket is for one kitchen, and we welcome group cooking on the same screen. All recipes are designed for four servings.
