A little bit of happy and a little bit of wine education. Wine is a grocery, not a luxury, and does not have to empty your wallet. Choosing a bottle to enjoy should feel accessible, affordable and fun. In this Happy Hour class, sommelier Janet Beeby will introduce you to three delicious, affordable and food-friendly wines while you learn about geographical regions, wine-making techniques, why some wines cost more, and where to look for top-notch wines at everyday prices.
This is a live, interactive class held in your home via Zoom. Janet Beeby will be teaching you about wine, with a Class Lead supporting you throughout. Class is meant to be as interactive as it would be at our table, and we are keeping class sizes small to help facilitate this. Each ticket is for one household.
Each Happy Hour class features 3 pre-selected bottles of wine that you can purchase and pick up in advance at the Pantry. If you would like a wine pack, please follow this link! For out-of-area guests, please click here for a list of wine alternatives that you can purchase at your local wine shop. There are also suggestions for food pairings and snacks, along with a quick recipe on the class shopping list.
The day before class we will email everyone an informational packet and the Zoom link. Please check your spam if you don't receive the reminder.
