Indian flavors can be as vast and diverse as the country itself. So we are thrilled to welcome Shama Joshi for this class focusing on some of her favorite recipes. Cook this celebratory meal while learning how to coax the most out of your spices and how to balance flavors while making aaloo-matar (spiced peas with new potatoes) and cucumber raita with peanut powder and curry leaf 'tadka' accompanied by masala pooris (whole wheat puffed bread).
This is a live, hands-on cooking class held in your kitchen via Zoom. Class is meant to be as interactive as it would be at our table, with the instructor teaching you how to prepare each recipe. Each class ticket is for one kitchen, and we welcome group cooking on the same screen. All recipes are designed for four servings.
Three days before class we will email everyone the detailed recipe packet and a Zoom link. All classes are listed in Pacific Daylight Time.
