The cold snap into the holiday season can send us running home to curl up by the fire, and nothing will welcome you home more than a wreath on your front door! In this workshop, Renée Beaudoin will show you how to weave a wild winter wreath with aplomb. You will learn the meaning behind traditional wreaths, how to weave with fresh cuts, tips for foraging, as well as the technique for making your own effortless looking wreaths. We will be working with evergreen, holly, rosemary, rose hips, ivy, and other winter bounty from the northwest. Everyone will make and leave with their own wreath, as well as an evergreen swag for the mantle. Sunday’s class will focus on making a free-form wreath and is for more advance wreath makers or those who wish to play with more wild and instinctive shapes.
