Sure, some people go to Italian restaurants for the pasta, but around here we go for dessert! In this class Marianna Stepniewski will teach you how to pipe ladyfingers, whip up zabaglione, candy citrus, and roll out dough as you make some of her Italian favorites. On the menu: tiramisu (ladyfingers with a rum and marsala mascarpone cream), sfogliatele (laminated dough "lobster tails" with ricotta cream and candied orange peel), torta alla nonna (short crust with lemon scented pastry cream filling and pine nuts); and chocolate and anise biscotti.
