We are pleased to welcome Brittany-born Emma Le Du for a class on the traditional savory galettes and sweet crêpes of this western region of France. You’ll learn how to make both buckwheat (galettes) and sweet (crêpes) batter, and all about the different components that make these authentic crêpes so special. On the menu: la complète (egg, ham, and cheese galette; la forestière (pancetta and mushroom galette with garlic, cream, and parsley); la pomme (apple galette with salted caramel sauce); la citron (lemon and caramelized sugar crêpe), and la gourmande (chocolate, banana, and almond crêpe).
