With over a year spent cooking her way around France, Marie Rutherford's love of French cooking runs deep. In this class she’s celebrating the summer garden and exploring the rustic dishes prepared throughout the southern region of Provence. On the menu: oil-poached tuna with piperade; marinated tomato with roasted shallot and herbs; and pan-fried panisse with olive aioli.
This is a live, hands-on cooking class held in your kitchen via Zoom. Marie will be teaching you how to prepare each recipe, with a Class Lead supporting you throughout. Class is meant to be as interactive as it would be at our table, and we are keeping class sizes small to help facilitate this. Our online classes are great for groups, so each ticket is for one screen, with recipes designed for four servings. All classes are listed in Pacific Standard Time. This class is a fundraiser for Trans Justice Funding Project, an organization that was hand picked by Marie for their work supporting grassroots, trans justice groups run by and for trans people.

Don’t feel like shopping? There is an option to include an ingredients kit for your class, where we’ll prep all the necessary ingredients, and all you have to do is pick it up from our garden the day before class. If you would like an ingredients kit, please add both the class and the kit to your shopping cart. Please be sure that you select the same date for your ingredient kit and class! Two days before class we will email everyone the detailed recipe packet and a Zoom link. Your ingredient kit can be picked up between 10-7pm the day before your class.
