We don’t know about you, but when we think about Spain, there’s one dish that jumps to mind: paella! In this class Laura Pyles will lead a discussion of the Spanish pantry, and teach you how to cook their most famous dish. Grab yourself a bottle of Spanish wine (for educational purposes, of course!) and join us as we make tomato-rubbed bread with olive oil and sea salt; paella with chicken, smoked sausage, and spring vegetables; and from scratch alioli.
This is a live, hands-on cooking class held in your kitchen via Zoom. Laura will be teaching you how to prepare each recipe, with a Class Lead supporting you throughout. Class is meant to be as interactive as it would be at our table, and we are keeping class sizes small to help facilitate this. Our online classes are great for groups, so each ticket is for one screen, with recipes designed for four servings. All classes are listed in Pacific Standard Time. This class is a fundraiser for the Seattle chapter of Gifts of Hope, an organization that was hand picked by Laura for their work uplifting homeless and low income individuals throughout the United States.

Don’t feel like shopping? There is an option to include an ingredients kit for your class, where we’ll prep all the necessary ingredients, and all you have to do is pick it up from our garden the day before class. If you would like an ingredients kit, please add both the class and the kit to your shopping cart. Please be sure that you select the same date for your ingredient kit and class! If you are already registered for this class and would like to purchase an ingredients kit, please send us an email, up to one week before class.
Two days before class we will email everyone the detailed recipe packet and a Zoom link. Your ingredient kit can be picked up between 10-7pm the day before your class.
