She’ll discuss 10 elements of flavor, breaking down all of the components that go into creating a balanced and flavorful dish. On the menu: sweet potato soup with chile and lemongrass; North African cinnamon-spiced carrot salad with goat cheese and pistachios; warm radicchio salad with salsa verde, white beans and smoked sea salt; and teaching moment guacamole with chips.
