It seems that everyone is talking about and drinking Rosé these days, which is no surprise because it’s absolutely delicious! Many of the popular summer sippers we enjoy come from France, but in this online class, taught by Sommelier, Janet Beeby, we will be exploring Rosado – the pink wine from Spain. Spain is the 2nd largest producer of rosé wine in the world, and we will taste through and learn about three mouthwatering regional wines that will be a perfect pairing to sunny days. Food pairings will be suggested, and we’ll enjoy our Catalonian rosado with simple homemade pintxos and blistered padron peppers.
A little bit of happy and a little bit of wine education, each Happy Hour class features 3 pre-selected bottles of wine that you can purchase and pick up in advance at the Pantry. If you would like a wine pack, please select one below! For out-of-area guests, please click here for a list of wine alternatives that you can purchase at your local wine shop.
This is a live, class held in your kitchen via Zoom. Class is meant to be as interactive as it would be at our table, with the instructor teaching you how to prepare each recipe. Each class ticket is for one kitchen, and we welcome group cooking on the same screen. All recipes are designed for four servings.
Three days before class we will email everyone the detailed recipe packet and a Zoom link. All classes are listed in Pacific Standard Time.
Please click here for the list of ingredients and equipment that you will need for class.
Your wine pack can be picked up between 12-6pm the day before your class. If you are registered for this class and would like to add an ingredients kit, please send us an email, up to one week before class.
