The transition from spring to summer draws all of us to open the windows to let the outside in, and nothing is more inviting than bringing the feel of the garden and meadows inside. In this workshop, Renée Beaudoin will show you how to compose English cottage garden style arrangements using an abundance of fresh herbs as the focal point. You’ll learn the how to harvest and work with delicate and hardy stems, how to design with herbs and flowers of the same season, and how to make wild, visually stunning arrangements that have that just-picked-from-the-English-countryside-feel. We will be working with an abundance of both grown and wild flowering herbs such as sage, chive blossoms, anise hyssop, rosemary, mint and tarragon along with other May flowers and stems. Everyone will create and leave with their own table arrangement and hand bouquet.
