Few cakes inspire as much myth and devotion as the beloved pound cake. Join our new pastry chef Katharine Wright as she teaches you how to make classic pound cake from start to finish, as well as how to dress it up with different flavors and sauces. You’ll learn a bit of history and a whole lot of technique — while your cakes are baking we’ll whip up some bittersweet chocolate sauce, strawberry lime compote, and chantilly cream to pile on later.
This is a live, hands-on cooking class held in your kitchen via Zoom. Katharine Wright will be teaching you how to prepare each recipe, with a Class Lead supporting you throughout. Class is meant to be as interactive as it would be at our table, and we are keeping class sizes small to help facilitate this. Each ticket is for one household.
