Parents! Join us for a day of cooking and mess-making with your little one! In this class taught by North Carolina native and mastermind behind Idlewild Biscuits and Bakes, Brian Medford, you’ll explore making Southern-style biscuits from scratch. He’ll show you how to mix, shape, and cut dough, while answering all of your biscuit-related questions like baking sheet vs. cast iron and touching vs. not touching. You’ll make piles of classic buttermilk biscuits that you’ll slather with homemade honey butter, and apple pie biscuits with maple glaze. This class is recommended for families cooking with children age 7 and older.

This is a live, hands-on cooking class held in your kitchen via Zoom. Class is meant to be as interactive as it would be at our table, with the instructor teaching you how to prepare each recipe. Each class ticket is for one kitchen, and we welcome group cooking on the same screen. All recipes are designed for four servings.
