Seattle is experiencing a bagel shop boom, and now’s the time to learn how to make your own! In this class Laura Pyles will be teaching us how to make New York-style bagel dough, how to hand-form classic bagels, and how to boil and bake them in a variety of flavors: plain, sesame, poppy seed, everything, and whole wheat with honey with dried apricots, along with traditional caramelized onion and poppy seed bialys. You’ll spread your bagels with whipped smoked trout cream cheese with scallions and roasted garlic; and cardamom apple cream cheese, and take home whatever you can’t manage to eat in class!
While our event purchases are nonrefundable, we are generally happy to give a credit for a future event when we can fill your spot. If you need to cancel, we will reach out to the waitlist. If we get any takers, we can then issue you a credit. The chances of finding a replacement are higher with as much advance notice as possible, so please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
