For Soy Dara, eating pun pla will always be a fond childhood memory of growing up in a tight knit community of refugees. In class you’ll make whole fried perch and whole grilled salt-crusted red snapper that you’ll wrap up in lettuce leaves with fresh herbs. vermicelli noodles. and all vegetables, fruits, and crispy accompaniments we can fit on the table. You’ll dip your wraps in pineapple ginger fish sauce; tamarind padaek sauce; and nuoc cham and partake in the deep-seated Lao tradition of communal eating.
While our event purchases are nonrefundable, we are generally happy to give a credit for a future event when we can fill your spot. If you need to cancel, we will reach out to the waitlist. If we get any takers, we can then issue you a credit. The chances of finding a replacement are higher with as much advance notice as possible, so please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
